KARACHI: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rains across the country for Sunday (today), Samaa reported.
According to the daily weather report by PMD for Sunday, a westerly wave is prevailing in the country and may persist over upper and central parts of the country till Wednesday.
Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country for the next 24 hours. However, rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places in Mirpur Khas, Sukkur divisions, northeastern Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country on Saturday, PMD stated.
The areas with the lowest recorded temperatures were Kalat and Quetta with -06 degrees celsius, Skardu -04, Gupis, Dalbandin -03°C, Kalam, Chitral -02°C, Dir -01°C.
